Local Member Ms Julie-Ann Campbell MP visits Endua as Federal Government announces $1.1 billion boost to low-carbon fuels
Right here in the Moreton community, Endua is developing advanced green hydrogen electrolysers that will directly benefit from the Federal Government’s recent $1.1 billion investment in the low-carbon liquid fuels industry.
Ms Julie-Ann Campbell MP visited Endua’s facility to witness the cutting-edge hydrogen technology being designed, built and tested locally in Queensland.
Endua’s modular, on-site electrolysers enable businesses and industries across Australia to produce green hydrogen directly where it’s needed, using renewable energy and water.
This technology eliminates the high costs and risks associated with transporting and storing hydrogen, helping sectors from transport to manufacturing and agriculture reduce their carbon footprint while improving energy security.
Driving Australia’s Long-Term Energy Transition
Endua’s technology is built on over 20 years of research and testing in partnership with CSIRO, delivering proven, reliable, and efficient electrolyser systems ready for commercial deployment. The Federal Government’s funding to accelerate low-carbon fuels aligns with Endua’s mission to scale local green hydrogen production, supporting the country’s pathway to net zero fuels that will be made with low carbon hydrogen and fostering local industry growth.
While the environmental and economic benefits will evolve over the coming years, this investment is a crucial step in building Australia’s sustainable energy future, creating local jobs, technology leadership, and cleaner industries across the nation.
CEO Paul Sernia: "Endua is proud to innovate right here in our community, delivering tangible solutions that will help Australia meet its clean energy goals. After recently announcing our successful Industry Growth Program grant of $4.88 million, it is great to see the Federal Government supporting the broader market industry in this crucial area."
